Connect

SharePoint

Browse sites and document libraries, then import the files you need.

What this is

SharePoint is a personal connection to Microsoft 365. Chat can list sites, libraries, and files the connected account can already read. Importing a file into Documents (or onto a deal) is what sends it through extraction onto the graph.

Horison asks Microsoft for read access to sites and files. This connection does not upload into a library. Plan on Horison reading SharePoint, not writing to it.

What it can do

  • List SharePoint sites the account can access.
  • List document libraries on a site, and browse folders.
  • Search files, read text, fetch metadata and recent files.
  • Import selected files into Documents, or onto a deal.

What it cannot do

  • Write into SharePoint. The live connection is read-only.
  • See sites the connecting user cannot open in Microsoft 365.
  • Skip an IT approval. Many firms will need an admin to approve Horison once before the popup finishes.

How to connect

You start in Horison, under Settings → Integrations. Horison opens a consent window. There is no API key to paste.

  1. 01

    Open Integrations

Sign in and go to SharePoint in Settings → Integrations. Choose the SharePoint card under Available.
  2. 02

    Approve access

Horison opens SharePoint in a popup. Review what it is asking for, then approve. Many Microsoft 365 firms need an IT admin to approve Horison once before this window will finish. If nothing appears, allow popups for app.horison.ai and try again.
  3. 03

    Confirm the connection

When the popup closes, SharePoint shows under Your connections. Only you can use it. Disconnecting stops new reads. Anything already in Horison stays until you delete it there.

Yours, not the firm's

Gmail, Outlook, Drive, SharePoint, and OneDrive are personal. A colleague cannot see your mailbox or your Drive through this connection. Attio is the exception: it can be shared with the whole workspace.

Your IT admin may need to click once

SharePoint is the connector most likely to stop on Microsoft admin consent. That is expected. Approve the app in your Microsoft tenant, then connect again.
