Attio

Keep running pipeline in Attio. Work the deal in Horison, without typing the same companies twice.

Copy is one way. Writes are a different path.

The scheduled import copies Attio into Horison. It does not push Horison edits back into Attio. Separately, if you ask Chat (inside Horison) to create or update something in Attio, that write goes through an approval first. Those are two different mechanisms. Do not expect a field you change on a Horison deal to show up in Attio on the next sync.

Why connect Attio

If you have never used Horison: think of Attio as the CRM, and Horison as the room where the deal actually gets worked. Attio already holds companies, people, and the pipeline. Horison holds the CIM, the model, the questions, the IC memo. Connecting them means the deal you open in Horison already knows who the company is, who the contacts are, and which stage you are in, because that came from Attio.

You start in Horison, under Settings → Integrations. Horison opens Attio’s consent screen. You never paste an API key. After you approve access, a short wizard asks which objects to copy and how Attio’s deal stages should line up with Horison’s. Nothing is imported until you confirm that wizard.

Attio is the one connector that can be shared with the whole firm. Gmail and Drive cannot. If you want every associate to see the same pipeline in Horison, choose firm-wide when you connect.

What Horison copies

After the wizard, Horison pulls the objects you ticked, on a schedule, using the Attio user who connected:

  • Companies and people, including the attributes on those records.
  • Deals (or whatever your workspace calls that object) and the pipeline stages they sit in.
  • The links Attio already stores: a person at a company, a deal on a company.
  • List membership: which records sit on which lists, including list-specific attributes.

Custom objects and custom attributes come along if you select them. Horison follows the schema Attio exposes. You do not have to name your deal object a particular way.

Extra colour Attio has added to a record (enrichment) is stored in Horison as a hint, not as something we will treat as a sourced fact. Suggested deals and projects wait for a person at the firm to accept them. The import will not invent a Horison deal on its own. That is deliberate: a CRM row is not always a live process you want in the workspace.

What it will not do

  • Write Horison-side edits back as part of the import. The scheduled sync only reads Attio.
  • Copy objects you left unticked in the wizard.
  • See Attio records the connecting user cannot open. If they lose access in Attio, later syncs stop seeing those records.
  • Mix another Horison customer’s data into yours. Each firm is isolated.

How to connect

You need an Attio workspace you can authorize apps into, and a Horison workspace you can sign in to.

  1. 01

    Open Horison

Go to app.horison.ai/integrations/attio or sign in and open Settings → Integrations. Create a workspace first if you do not have one.
  2. 02

    Start Attio from Integrations

The Attio card sits under Available. Choose it, pick firm-wide or only you, and connect. Horison opens Attio in a popup.
  3. 03

    Approve access in Attio

Attio lists the objects Horison’s app can use. Those permissions are set on the Horison app in Attio, not typed into a URL. Stop if the list is broader than you are happy with.
  4. 04

    Choose what to import

After you approve, a wizard lists the objects in that workspace. Tick companies, people, deals or projects, and any lists you want in Horison. You can line Attio deal stages up with Horison stages here. Unmapped stages stay as they are. A large workspace can take a few minutes to scan.
  5. 05

    Confirm, then wait for suggestions

The first copy into Horison starts when you confirm in the wizard, not at the moment you click approve in Attio. Come back to Settings → Integrations to see Attio under Your connections. Suggested deals and projects wait until someone at the firm accepts them.

Who can see it

The Attio user who connected is the identity Horison uses for the import. A firm-wide connection is visible to the workspace. A personal one is visible only to you. If a colleague attaches a workspace that is already connected, they do not go through the wizard again.

Disconnect in either product and Horison stops reading. Records already in Horison stay until someone deletes them in Horison.

Chat, agents, and Claude

Once Attio is connected, Chat inside Horison can search Attio and, if you ask, create or update records there. Each write waits for an approval. The same is true of Agents running in the product: they can use those Attio tools, with the same gate.

Connecting Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor to Horison is a different path. That is Horison as a server, so those products can read your graph and documents. They do not get Attio’s CRM tools. See Connect an agent.

Later, that same MCP connection will be able to start an in-product agent and retrieve what it produced. That is not live yet. Until it is, start memos and screens from Agents on the rail.
